Session 9, 10 and 11 Working on your proposals
Events
This afternoon you can continue to working in your teams on your event. Your proposal should be finished but you can spend some time tweaking it
Teams Assessment: Details are in the assessment guide, but it is essentially a reflective diary. I don't mind if it isn't an actual diary, but your assessment should cover the following topics overall:
What
was achieved by the team? |
What
did you contribute/bring to the team? |
Were
there any issues that needed to be resolved? How were they resolved? |
Did
the team achieve the goals set out for each week? |
What
could you or the team have done better? |
Make sure that you include details in your plan on how you will receive feedback during and after the event.
Element 5 - Evaluate programs
5.1 Obtain and provide formal and informal feedback from, and to, customers and colleagues
5.2 Modify activities according to feedback received and use feedback to inform future development
5.3 Establish and implement ongoing review mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement of programs
Class Activity 1
How can you determine whether the attendees are enjoying the event or having any difficulties during the event i.e. while the event is actually taking place?
What types of issues could occur during an event? Think about the event(s) that your team will be running.
What actions can you take to resolve those issues?
Would these issues be formal or informal?
How will you get feedback after the event? Informally? Formally?
